Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a love of baking. I grew up watching my Mother and her Father/my Papa, in the kitchen - sharing recipes, stories, and laughs.

I’ve taken that love with me into my adulthood and I’m excited to have this creative outlet where I can share my favorite (mostly sweet!) recipes, home décor finds, and hosting inspiration.

Leyland is the street I grew up on and spent 13 years of my childhood. It’s where I discovered my love of baking, where my appreciation of interior design and home décor originated, and where I learned everything I now know about baking, entertaining, and making a house a home. I hope you find this blog a source of sunshine and comfort — just like I found this place for many years!
